Sitemap

Using all the information from the  Content Marketing Process PURPOSE step, we'll build a visual sitemap so we can all get on the same page very quickly about what it is we're trying to communicate and the best way to structure the information. Here's an example of one from an earlier project.

Content

Then we'll use the sitemap structure and collect the content for each section of the website. A good portion of the design is dependent on how much text, or how many images are necessary. Even if the content already exists (from your previous website, for instance) it still needs to be audited and approved - and depending on your internal team, this could take a while.

Prototype

Now instead of trying to describe with still images how the site will function, at this point we'll build an interactive prototype in the browser to show you how our solution will work. It's just an empty framework, with no attention to design, so it ain't pretty, but it gets us close really quick. 

Design

This is where the magic happens. With a functional prototype and your approved content, we'll apply your brand identity - colors, imagery and design elements - and bring your website to life. Here's the same website fully designed.

Delivery

Finally, we finish any necessary back-end programming and test to make sure everything is working properly before delivering your shiny new website, ready to show off to the whole world.
